RangeJournal.com is intended solely for lawful sporting record-keeping by shooting sports athletes.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using RangeJournal.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to participate in shooting sports in your jurisdiction to use this service.
3. Permitted use
RangeJournal.com may be used to record personal shooting sessions, disciplines, scores, rounds fired, weapon details, locations and private notes for lawful sporting purposes only.
4. Prohibited use
You may not use RangeJournal.com for any of the following: illegal activities; the sale, trade or transfer of firearms, ammunition or accessories; storing serial numbers or permit numbers in ways that violate applicable law; attempting to access another user's data; uploading malicious code; reverse-engineering the application; circumventing security measures.
5. No marketplace or community
RangeJournal.com is not a community, forum, marketplace or social network. There are no public profiles, public session listings or peer-to-peer functions of any kind.
6. Content you provide
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of information you enter. Do not enter firearms serial numbers, permit numbers, home storage locations or any data the public disclosure of which is restricted by law.
7. Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Use a strong, unique password and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
8. Availability
We aim to provide a secure and reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance and technical issues may cause temporary outages.
9. Data and backups
You are encouraged to export your data regularly using the CSV export feature. We do not guarantee the preservation of data in the event of service discontinuation.
10. Intellectual property
All software, design and content of RangeJournal.com remain the property of their respective authors. Your personal session data belongs to you.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that security measures will be impenetrable.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RangeJournal.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time via your profile page.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator is established. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
